"...Throughout my life the greatest joy of making music has come from working with all the wonderful
musicians who play and sing my compositions.
These great men & women continue to interpret the
notes and words with such added clarity and feeling,
that when I listen to the recordings I can hardly
believe it is indeed my music! In fact, most of my
music is really not mine at all...it comes through me
from a much higher place, and is always interpreted or
played with much more meaning than just the notes on a
page. To all those musicians and singers, I owe my
deepest thanks. My music became theirs and theirs
became mine. To share those notes with them has been
the most important part of my musical life."
